Welcome back to Term 2 at ROCKGOD. Whats new? Well we now have 3 Concert Classes. Enemies with Benefits are performing the "Queen Show", the Amps are doing the "Lez Zep Show" and the Broken Guns are doing the "Glam Rock Show". We also have a new Old School band on Thursday evenings who desperately need a drummer.
ROCKGOD has also been completely recarpeted in the school holidays and it looks a million bucks. Oh yeah and we have new cakes in the cafe. Cakes by Kyla are a selection of Slices, Cupcakes, Whoopie Pies and more that will leave you drooling. Come down and check them out. Later.
MARCH
School Holidays are upon us again. Where does time go???? That means its gig and workshop time. The next gig folks is at the Tall Timbers Hotel, Ourimbah, SUNDAY 15th April. This time around we have 2 Concert Classes. Our Senior class (Enemies with Benefits) will be performing the Foo Fighters Show and The Amps will be performing the Glam Rock Show. Its going to be a massive day with 11 bands starting at 3pm. Tickets will be available at the door. Prices are $7.50 for adults and $2.50 for kids.
We have finalized our School Holiday Program. Click HERE for details and prices. We have a couple of new classes this holidays including a WRITE AND RECORD A HIT SONG DAY. The students will get to write, record, mix and put the song up on the ROCKGOD website by the end of the day.
We are also have a new holiday class called ROCKTWEENS. More pop than rock this class will be great fun for kids between 5 & 12.
And not forgetting the grown ups we will be having an FREE Old School Jam session on Thursday 19th April 6.30pm. No obligation, just come down and ROCK.
Other big news is that ROCKGOD is getting new carpet this school holidays! Cant wait to get rid of the cricket pitch carpet stain in the Wembley Room!
FEBRUARY
Missed Us? Well we are back. And its full speed ahead. We now have 2 Concert Classes at ROCKGOD. Our senior Concert Class will be coming up with a new name and will be getting ready for the "FOO FIGHTERS SHOW" for the end of term gig. There is also talk of a special guest appearance at the Gravity Festival in April which will be awesome if it comes off.
NEW....NEW....NEW....NEW....NEW....NEW...
We have kicked off the ROCKTOTS PLAY CENTRE on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 9am till 12.30pm. Its only $5 to enter and there is a ROCKTOTS musical activity (Rock Rhyme, Musical Game, Rock Moves ect) every 30 mins. What a great way to spend your morning sitting down with a coffee and watching your kids singing dancing and having a ball.
We are now offering RECORDING LESSONS. These lessons can take any form you would like. Spend the first 3 weeks writing a song then spend the rest of the term recording, mixing, mastering & finalizing your track/s. The better you get the more tracks you can record during the term.
DECEMBER
Almost over for another year and what a year it has been. We are ending the year with a bang at the Central Coast Leagues Club on Sunday the 18th December. This time around the Concert Class are performing "The Modern Rock" show. Its going to be a massive night with 10 bands so bring your dancing shoes.
We will be back bigger and better than ever in 2012 with lots of new programs and activities including ROCKGOD Uni in the January School Holidays. Stay tuned for more details.
NOVEMBER
Great work to our Bands ,"The Broken Guns" and "Green Metal Guns" who performed at the Niagara Park School fete last weekend. The studends were so good that fairy floss sales momentarily stalled not to mention the white elephant stall going into meltdown beggin us to stop so their customers would come back.

OCTOBER
Big news at ROCKGOD for Term 4 with the opening of our new cafe. ROCKGOD is going nuts at the mo so be sure to come down and try the new brew.
SEPTEMBER
Ok we are ramping up to holiday season again. Make sure you highlight Sunday 25th September on your calendar. Thats the date for our next end of term gig. This time around the Concert Class is performing the Aussie Rock Show. The gig will be held at the Tall Timbers Hotel in Ourimbah. First band will be on at 4pm and the night should be wrapped up by 8.30ish. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for kids available on the door. Come dressed as your favourite Aussie Rock Star. It should be a great night as our end of term gigs usually are.
We will also be holding school holiday workshops again this holidays. The beginner workshop will be on Tuesday the 27th Sept and the Intermediate on Thursday the 29th. Workshops are $45 per student and run from 10am till 1pm. In addition to the workshops we will be holding a "Guitar Hero" jam session between 1.30 & 3.30pm. Jam Sessions after the worshops (1.30 - 3.30pm) . Come along and play your favourite guitar hero songs for real. The Jam Session is ONLY $10.
JUNE
Ok folks we have locked in the Central Coast Leagues Club Scenic Lounge for our end of Term 2 gig. It will be on Sunday July 3 kicking off at 6pm. All your favourite ROCKGOD bands will be playing including the Concert Class performing the Grunge Rock Show and the debut performance of our Old School band "Yer Mum"! School Holiday workshops and Jam Sessions are on again. This time its Tuesday 5th & Thursday 7th July. There will be a Jam Session on both days and the theme will be ACDC. Book in early for this one.

Welcome back for Term 2. We have an exciting new program for our seniors commencing Tuesday 3rd May called OLD SCHOOL. ROCKTOTS have started back on Tuesday and Thursday Mornings and the Concert Class are back this term doing "Grunge Rock". Cant wait for the next gig.

Hey. Lots of news to tell. Firstly our "Punk Rock Show" is coming up on April 10 at the Grange in Wyoming. Its going to be a cracker afternoon kicking off at 1pm. 8 ROCKGOD bands are playing finishing off with the Concert Class performing "The Punk Rock Show". Dont miss out. Only $5 Adults & $2 kids.
School Holiday workshops are back on folks. Beginner & Intermediate classes will be held on Tuesday 19th April. We also have our GREEN DAY JAM SESSION on that day. Only $10 for the 2 hour Jam. Limited numbers so book in fast.

Either way its game on again. This year we are continuing to improve our Cirriculum of Rock. We have some great new teachers and new Concert Classes are coming your way. We are starting the year with a little Anarchy in the form of PUNK ROCK. Cant wait till the next gig. I wonder where it will be??

Details for our end of year gig have been confirmed folks. It wil be "The Blues Rock Show", come dressed as The Blues Brothers (or sisters) at Central Coast Leagues Club in the Scenic Lounge on Sunday December 19 starting at 6.00pm. Its going to be a great night, and a late night so make shure you tell all your friends.

ROCKGOD MUSIC SCHOOL is excited to announce our END OF TERM concert THE LED ZEPPELIN SHOW. We are back at JACK'S BAR & GRILL on SUNDAY 11th JULY 2010. This time we are kicking off at 5pm with all your favourite ROCK bands including new band 'NOW OPEN'. The CONCERT CLASS will be performing THE LED ZEPPELIN show. Each participating student will receive 2 free tickets for family or friends to attend, additional ticket are $5 for adults & $2 for kids under 18. It will be a great night. Come dressed as a HIPPY in support of the theme for the night.!

ROCKGOD MUSIC SCHOOL is excited to announce our END OF TERM concert THE GLAM ROCK SHOW held at JACK'S BAR & GRILL Karalta Rd in Erina on SUNDAY the 11th APRIL 2010.
The evening will start at 6pm with the 4 BAND CLASSES - ORPHEOUS, THE AMPS, BROKEN GUNS and TWISTED METAL followed by the CONCERT CLASS performing THE GLAM ROCK SHOW.
Each participating student will receive 2 free tickets for family or friends to attend, additional ticket are $5 for adults & $2 for kids under 18. It will be a great night and there will be a PRIZE for the best dressed GLAM ROCK audience member.

Brand new in 2010 is ROCKTOTS. This is our music appreciation program for Pre-School aged kids between 2 & 5 years of age. Classes will be held during the day in the WEMBLEY room. Kids will be SINGING, DANCING, PERFORMING and PLAYING an array of PERCUSSION and MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. What tot doesn’t like to ROCK?! Check out our ROCKTOTS page for more information.
